Lamp and Ballast kit - no reflector

315W Ceramic Metal Halides are very popular for their power savings, their yields (similar to a 600W HPS) and lower heat. As an alternative to LED grow lights, they are very economical to run and to buy by comparison.

Sol sense make a lamp (Phillips internals - top shelf) and a Ballast that can dim the lamp to 145W, 225W, 315W and overdrive 355W. Note the ballast is a square wave not a sine wave - so its like a massive frequency upshift. At maximum output more of the time than any other ballast.

The Sol Sense lamp and ballasts can be setup with your favourite reflector or air-cooled reflector, or you can buy the top quality all in one 'SOL UNIT' reflector ballast and lamp package. Either way, the Sol Sense system is going to give you excellent results
