4 in stockCool tubes are brighter than most reflectors because you can get closer to the crop and hence the light/lumen exposure is brighter all the way through the canopy. Cool tubes help reduce the heat in the grow room. You must connect these to your exhaust fan (fan then duct then cool tube then exit the room) or to a seperate fan (outside air, then fan, then cool tube, then ducting out of the gorwing area). using the seperate fan is useful if closing off the growroom in the case of CO2 enrichment or keeping airconditioned air where it needs to be...in the room.
- Available in 150mm tube x 400mm long for 250W, 400W and 600W lamps with a silver flexible reflector
- Also available in 150mm tube x 600mm long for 1000W lamps (which are physically too long for the standard cool tube) in silver reflector
- Also available in a 200mm tube x 400mm long for more airflow in silver
You can join one or more cool tubes together with ductingremove most of the hot air created by lighting from the source. The heat from the lights doesn't get a chance to warm anything up!! The use of Cooltubes allows you to place your globes much closer to your plants without any burning. This in turn increases lumen exposure, resulting in much larger yields.
They are also suited for floor lighting. Growers can position them upside down with the light shining up underneath the plants. The globe is fully shielded within the glass tube and all heat can again be vented straight out of the room!
