Using the light rail will allow you to
run the light closer to the plants
move the light up to double its usual coverage
e.g. 1 600W light covers around 1.2x1.2m maybe 1.5x1.5 is some situations and 1mx1m if using it to full intensity.
you can use the rail to move 1.2 wide by 2.4 long as long as you
keep the light moving (don't cook the plants at the ends
go around 20-40cm longer to cover the end of the growing area well
tie down plants so the at shorter plants are not disavantaged by the taller plants making the light further away
Freight options
When the rail is 2 meters long it cannot go by Australia post or by courier. Sometimes this means freight companies that will take 5-7 days instead of 1-3 days. This is due to the length. If we are not contacted by you we will assume we need to send it this way.
We can send by courier (faster and more reliable) if....
you ask us to cut the rail into 2 (or 3) pieces and
you attach the rail to the ceiling or a piece of wood so that the motor can run from one rail to the next without a gap.
Note: adjustabar (shown in photo) is very short and is for use with reflectors that have 2 connection points for light hanging. This is not a full crossbar, the crossbar is a separate item.
