Normal timers don't last as long with this sort of light. A plug-in timer with a heavy-duty relay is ideal https://www.hydrocentre.com.au/lighting/timers-controllers/
 
Lighting is usually run for 18 hours a day for vegetative / Summer growth
A reduction to 12 hours on and 12 hours off will be a substantial drop bringing on flowering quickly.
Plants count dark hours so do not interrupt the dark cycle during flowering.
 
If setting up a tent, consider you will need a tent, a light, an exhaust fan (probably a carbon filter package) and in inlet fan, timer, hanger, ducting, and a growing system. We are happy to talk you through this on the phone or in our store displays.
