The one thing I hear from everyone is how hot it has been and now that the Gold Coast Summer is over they are so much happier.....

One customer pointed out that there were a lot of solar flares and that may be why we found that in the 30 degree temperatures we were going crazy with the heat. I know that I felt worse than a lot of the 40 degree days at other times. Maybe cosmic radiation was frying my brain. When I got inside shopping centres it was air-conditioned, but I felt sane again. Maybe the building could be shielding it.

Who knows, just know it was the weirdest weather in my life, and next summer will be better. Or I will air-condition the shop!

Air conditioned growing rooms seemed to be big winners through summer. Outdoor systems couldn't get enough water, and did well in ventilated shade houses.

New products

Microkill is a great product for killing mould, fungus, bacteria etc, and is only a beneficial bacteria itself. Our Tests on "Black and White" nutrient seem good, should release soon as a cheap in house alternative, designed as a refillable bottle, so you don't pay for packaging every time, and can save the planet in another small way.

Yes, that's us advertising on the Gold Coast.
I am combating lack of knowledge mainly.
"Hydroponics....", they say,
"that's what they grow dope in isn't it....ha ha".
I guess that's all they hear about in the news.
We do grow lots of vegetables, herbs and fruits,
flowers, exotics like orchids, houseplants etc.
But they only seem to notice when its in the news.
Hydroponics is for everyone, growing any plant at all,
and that is what we are advertising about.
