We have constructed these courses to provide an insight into the hobby of Hydroponics. These classes are small, limited to 10 people at a time, and are easy to understand.

2 hour Basic Course: For anyone who wants to get a system running or just a houseplant, herb or veggie box, or more. Covers Plant Basics such as photosynthesis, nutrition, hydroponic methods and systems, Plants in Hydroponics (Vegetables, Root Vegetables, Herbs, Flowers, Fruit…), and we will setup and demonstrate a Perlite System. Course cost is free in groups, or $50 if private one on one.
May also be available on video by end 2003

Advanced Course: Covers improvements to existing systems, plant performance, advanced nutrition, systems and additives. Not available for non-growers as requires some working knowledge. 1 person per course $50

Indoor Growing Courses 1 person per course. Course to cover all aspects of setting up a grow room, ventilation and systems designs. With Tips that will supercharge your growing area and could save thousands of dollars worth of experimentation, the indoor grower should consider all the information well worth the money. Cost $50. Is included in some system prices when purchased.  Video may be ready by end 2003

Commercial Course
By appointment only - personal tuition.  Cost $50 - not available on video. Can be taken by correspondence if required. The purchase of equipment is recommended but optional to complete course. Estimated cost of equipment would be around $500 depending on type of crop to be grown and may include a trial system, ph and nutrient testing equipment. Potential farmers will be taken through crop selection, market analysis, growing techniques, system design, and business planning including profit and loss. $50 is really too cheap, and may rise in the future.

Limited seats - Places must be reserved. Limits of 10 per course apply. We reserve the right to refuse to allow attendance of any person. Age must be over 18 or with an adult guardian. We also reserve the right to cancel a course for any reason (example unexpected staff sickness) and we suggest that phone contact numbers be left to allow us to attempt to contact you should any situation arise. Groups or schools are limited to two people. We have limits on groups to two people to ensure fair chance for all our clients to be booked into their preferred available dates.

Location Will be held at Gold Coast Garden Supplies / Nerang Hydroponic Centre Shop 17 / 39 Lawrence Drive Nerang Queensland. Note: We are opposite our competitors; Simply Hydroponics (i.e. two Hydroponic stores in the same street)
